Always having thought that my music lacked some sort of organised structure in 2010 I decided to use simple matrix multiplication/addition and vector operations to create harmonies and use simple series to create rhythms.

I stuck to this modus operandi and what is collected here are the pieces of that period between 2010 and early 2013. Having excessively used loops before 2010 I decided to not use loops at all and do these composed ''miniatures'' you can hear here.

Production-wise this was a big step up from my previous works with more meticulous editing and clarity. The pieces are dominated by guitars -- especially un-amplified electric guitars. Because of their low natural volume the microphone had to be turned up in sensitivity and the noises (nuances in touching the string, pick scraping along the pickups etc) that got picked up by it helped creating the coarse and raw feel of the tracks.

Looking back at that time (start of my time at university, exchange in Manchester, UK) I think these pieces are like little snapshots from that period and -- to me -- reflect the inspiration for these tracks quite well.
